The
Nightmare Motel, formerly known as The Hewitt Inn and Suites, was shut
down in 1976. Most of you may already know the story behind it all, but
just in case here's how it goes .
The Hewitt Inn opened for business in 1973 by a quiet family from Texas. The Hewitt's however were not your ordinary "quiet family". Inbreds who hated anyone not of the family. Cannibals. Killers. Sick freaks is what they were. They didn't buy the motel to make a profit. They opened it to kill, to massacre, to have fun, but mainly to eat .
It took three years for anyone to ever catch on. Residents would check in, but NEVER check out, and would never be seen again. There are only 3 known victims, the remains of the other missing persons were never found, but it is said that there were 17 others reported missing after checking in. Mostly innocent people traveling that just needed a place to sleep for the night.
The cold night in 1976 when the motel was finally raided by local police came way too late. The Hewitt's had been gone for more than a day after one of the victims managed to escape into the deep woods. Where are the Hewitt's now? Lets just say the family tree grew a few branches and the grand opening of the Nightmare Motel is October 3rd. We will have plenty of vacancy's. So please, come stay with us.
